Job Title: Senior Practitioner Area: Essex Social Services Salary: £32 Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Adults. Locum required with a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience in Adults Social Care to work in the Adults Safeguarding Team. The candidate will be working with adults who have been referred to the team due to concerns about safeguarding. They will be expected to cover emergency safeguarding duty visits; complete initial information gathering and signpost when concerns are received; complete s42 safeguarding enquiries; and participate in safeguarding strategy meetings. They must be able to come into the office at least two days a week and be prepared to travel around the Borough on any given day when emergency safeguarding visits are required. Therefore, they must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. Candidates must have recent experience of completing s42 Safeguarding Enquiries under the Care Act.
