To provide high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to patients following admission to the older person’s wards.
To support the organisation and development of pathways of care to ensure effective and timely discharge.
As a senior practitioner, to provide Occupational Therapy advice and professional support to other disciplines or services, within the team and across the Trust.
To support the therapy team leads in the maintenance and development of the therapy service and to support and lead local and national initiatives in therapy.
To extend the scope of clinical practice to enable the support of medical and nursing colleagues to provide excellent patient care and timely discharge.
