Job Title: Stroke/Neuro Physiotherapist – Band 6 Area: Surrey NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Job details: Stroke therapies. To start asap for 12 weeks. • Experienced physiotherapist to cover a mixed caseload of patients with stroke/neurological conditions requiring neuro-therapy intervention in Epsom hospital.Independently assess and treat patients, using evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning to develop care plans.
• Interpret clinical and non-clinical information to diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment interventions.
• Reassess patients regularly to ensure treatments are effective and discharge plans are comprehensive.
• Coordinate interventions, providing education to patients, carers, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records (POMR format) and produce comprehensive reports for referrers.
• Manage clinical risk for your caseload and seek guidance when required.
• Demonstrate advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic handling.
• Manage emotionally challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism. Candidate should have experience working with adults with stroke and neurological conditions. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 16.0 (30 minutes unpaid break) Code: U.022001.B14293
