Job Title: Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist – Band 6 (2 roles) Area: Merseyside NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: 2x Senior Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapists required to start asap for 6 months. Should have experience working within an acute hospital and/or rehabilitation environments. There are placements available within the post-operative care ward and the Elective Orthopaedic ward. Services are 7 days. Weekend working is not typically required by Locum colleagues. The area of work involves managing a clinical caseload to provide ongoing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning for both surgical and trauma and orthopaedic patients following their surgery. The placements involve close MDT collaboration, following the Red 2 Green principles to promote a positive patient experience and journey. Awareness of local discharge pathways would be helpful but not essential. Awareness of the Home First and Single Handed Care principles would be helpful but not essential. Respiratory physiotherapy skills are desirable but not essential. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00-16.00 or 08.30 – 16.30, 7 day rostering applicable. Code: U. 79510 / 79511. 013001.B14080
