Job Details:
Two Senior Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist roles available to start ASAP for 6 months. Candidates should have experience working in acute hospital and/or rehabilitation environments.
Available placements include:
Post-operative care ward
Elective Orthopaedic ward
Responsibilities:
Manage a clinical caseload, providing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning for surgical and trauma/orthopaedic patients.
Collaborate closely with the MDT, following Red2Green principles to promote positive patient experience and flow.
Awareness of local discharge pathways, Home First, and Single-Handed Care principles is beneficial but not essential.
Respiratory physiotherapy skills desirable but not essential.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00 or 08:30–16:30. Seven-day rostering applies; weekend work not typically required for locum staff.
