Job Title: Biomedical Scientist – Band 5/6 Location: Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Contract: Temporary (6+ months) Hourly Pay: £26 per hour (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-standard microtomy for histological analysis, achieving a cutting rate of 35 blocks per hour.
Maintain, calibrate, and manage lab equipment to ensure quality and accuracy.
Ensure all work complies with NHS and UKAS diagnostic standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
Proven experience in histology and microtomy.
Exceptional precision, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
