Job Title: Biomedical Scientist – Leicester Royal Infirmary Location: Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust Specialty: Bacteriology / Clinical Research / Clinical Biochemistry Banding: Qualified & Experienced Contract: Temporary (6+ months) Hourly Pay: £25 – £30 per hour (dependent on experience, negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform bacteriology testing within a clinical microbiology laboratory.
Ensure accurate sample processing and interpretation of results.
Maintain compliance with UKAS accreditation standards and laboratory protocols.
Support research and development initiatives within the laboratory team.
Requirements:
HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
Previous experience in a UKAS-accredited laboratory.
