Job details:  Inpatient therapies. General Acute. To start asap for 6 months. Senior Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists required. Placement available within the post operative care ward and the elective orthopaedic ward. Service is 7 days a week. Weekend not typically required. Managing a clinical caseload, providing ongoing assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning for both surgical and trauma and orthopaedic patients following their surgery. Placements involve close MDT Collaboration, following the red 2 green principles to promote a positive patient experience and journey. Awareness of local discharge pathways would be helpful but not essential.
Skills/experience:  Respiratory physio skills are desirable but not essential. Experience working within an acute hospital and or rehabilitation environments.
