Provide liaison with other professionals and agencies in order to provide effective communication leading to a comprehensive and integrated package of care around the young person, their families and/or carers. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. To offer therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practice and in line with the NICE guidelines. To ensure the clients’ rights of confidentiality are maintained at all times. To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice/ conduct. To exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment and discharge of children, young people and their families/carers.
