Job details:  Family services. The service provides community-based assessments for disabled and vulnerable residents within the district. Experienced and motivated clinician required to be part of the Community Occupational Therapy team. The post holder will preferably have experience of community based assessment services and clinical knowledge around equipment/adaptations, assistive technology and advice on moving/handling clients with complex needs. They will be responsible to the Community Occupational Therapy team manager and will play a significant part in the development and delivery of this high-quality service.
Community Occupational Therapy Assessment Team - responsible for moving and handling assessments/risk assessments, equipment provision and minor adaptation requests, and initial assessments for major adaptations. The teams consist of a manager band 7, Band 6 therapists alongside Band 4 support staff. Working hours: Full time (37.5 hrs)
