The team see a variety of patients who have been admitted to hospital due to orthopaedic fractures, people who are due to have elective orthopaedic joint replacements, been admitted to hospital for surgical intervention or in hospital for vascular concerns.  
The team complete pre-operative assessments for elective patients and for people who are due to have amputations and see patients who are on the orthopaedic and surgical wards to assess their needs to support a safe discharge home from hospital. 
The clinical work is largely in the acute setting at the Conquest but may also require visits to clients homes, covering an area which includes Rye, Bexhill and the area around Hastings. Car driver essential. Preferable to have own car but pool car may be available upon request (dependent on demand and availability). Working hours: Full time. Monday to Sunday, 08.30 – 16.30.
