Job details:  Physiotherapist required until substantive recruitment completed. To start asap. Main duties:

• To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of clients with complex needs using evidence-based principles within Critical Care and Medicine, Orthopaedics and Surgery and Care of the Elderly
• To work as an autonomous practitioner and to provide specialist assessments and treatments to clients, and maintain records in line with Trust and professional standards.
• To work as an effective team member and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders including patients, family/carers and the MDT.
• To provide leadership, training and education to junior staff, students, and assistants, and to provide supervision and 121’s with junior staff and assistants.
• To deputise for the clinical lead in the absence
• To be highly organised and be able to prioritise effectively and be able to work in a busy environment and under pressure.

Job details:  To cover vacancy. Experienced and energetic individual required to work within the Respiratory Therapy services. The role will work between the respiratory, cardiology, enhanced care and supporting ICU. The role will require strong respiratory physiotherapy skills, discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and manage complex rehab of patients from a post ICU step down. There will be an expectation to work flexibly between the area. The role would suit an PT with interest and experience within these areas or at least acute medicine. Job details:  MSK Physiotherapist required for 12 weeks.
•       To provide a highly skilled physiotherapy assessment, education, advice and treatment service to outpatients referred by G.Ps. Patient conditions will include musculoskeletal conditions (including post-operative orthopaedics), arthritis, and patients presenting with acute, chronic and or complex spinal pain.
•       To work in an outpatient setting within the trust in small clinics at GP surgeries/health centres
•       To be a source of expertise on the management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
•       To supervise less experienced physiotherapists and students on clinical placement.
•       To perform highly specialist physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations who may have complex physical and psychological conditions.
•       To hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, working without clinical supervision. To participate in regular formal training, clinical reasoning sessions and peer review.  Access for advice and support is available from a clinical specialist physiotherapist if required.
•       To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
•       To supervise, mentor, educate and assess undergraduate physiotherapy students and to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standard set by universities.
•       To provide clinical and non- clinical support to more junior / less experienced staff
