Job details:  The role is to provide clinical Speech and Language assessment of children and young people on the Autism Diagnostic Pathway. Applicants should have a post-grad qualification in Autism diagnosis in order to be able to complete the relevant diagnostic tests and provide clinical judgement on diagnosis to support the overall decision made by our community paediatrician colleagues. Assessments can take place in both clinic and school settings. Following an assessment, applicants would complete a report which would then be sent to community paediatricians. Applicants would also be expected to attend MDT meetings with community paediatricians to discuss cases where further clinical decision making is required.
