Job details:  Role is face to face. Hybrid/remote not currently available for this role. To start January 2024 for 3 months minimum. JD available on request: The post holder will provide specialist clinical input to mainstream schools in Bedfordshire or Luton. Working as part of the community schools’ team, they will provide speech and language therapy support to children with a wide range of SLC needs including EHCP provision. They will provide training to enable parents and other professionals to support children’s language and communication needs. They will supervise other colleagues and will take part in the triage process for the community service. Duties: The post holder will provide specialist clinical input to mainstream schools in Bedfordshire or Luton. Working as part of the community schools’ team, they will provide speech and language therapy support to children with a wide range of SLC needs including EHCP provision working with a whole school, link therapist approach. They will provide training to enable parents and other professionals to support children’s language and communication needs. Necessary Skills or Requirements: Qualified speech and language therapist with a minimum of 18 months experience working with school age children. Will need to be able to drive. Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Full time or Part time available.
