Norfolk County Council is seeking a skilled and flexible Locum Social Worker to support our Adults Safeguarding team on a temporary basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the protection and well-being of vulnerable adults, ensuring safeguarding processes are followed in line with the Care Act 2014. Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to adult safeguarding concerns, undertaking enquiries and investigations in line with Section 42 of the Care Act.
Complete risk assessments and develop safeguarding plans, working collaboratively with adults at risk, their families, carers, and multi-agency partners.
Maintain clear and accurate case records, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and organisational policies.
Support the wider safeguarding team by participating in case conferences, strategy meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
